What is FCDS?
The Foundation for Conservation and Sustainable Development (Fundación para la Conservación y el Desarrollo Sostenible – FCDS) is a non-governmental organization, legally constituted on May 27, 2011. Its goals include the sustainable and equitable development of – mainly rural – human populations while preserving these regions’ natural and social conditions.
Given the above and the country’s current dynamics, FCDS is committed to building a culture of peace following an inclusive, inter-agency and multi-scale approach, in collaboration with communities and local, regional, and national organizations, sectors, and state authorities.
