The purpose of this project was to create policy guidelines to guarantee water, food, energy, and health security throughout the Amazon region.
It was funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the Directorate General for International Cooperation (DGIS) of the Netherlands and led by the Global Canopy Program (GCP) and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT).
FCDS participated in the research and drew up recommendations for the Colombian Amazon. One of the project’s outcomes is the document “Security Agenda for the Amazon.”
